The schedule is getting tougher and tougher. Its getting the point that the juggle of a full time ( FD career) and owning what is now a full time business is getting to be to much of a time burden and sacrificing my family\home life. I'm looking into selling the landscaping business and just doing the dirt work with the skid steer as it comes in to keep myself busy on the days off from work and it will allow me to schedule work kind of when I want to work. I'm 28 now and have been working since I was 14 I missed out on high school sports, missed out on a lot of the childhood\young adulthood things I wanted to do in order to work because i refused to accept any money from family because it wasn't there and I feel that earning your own success is what makes us americans. If you keep the business small as in no employees and minimal stress the schedules work great, but once you scale up it becomes very time consuming and impacts your full time career which I do not want to sacrifice as hard as it is to get out of the industry. I've always been very interested in real estate so we'll see where it goes. But until its sold i'll still be giving my 110% as I do with everything I work towards. And as long as i'm working the pics will keep posting.
