Bought a new trimmer today

I broke down and bought another Sthil FS-90 today. I got the one with the loop handle, i needed one as my other 2 Sthils are bike bars and aren't practical for trimming. Also installed my new trimmer rack, it looks pretty good and saves space in my truck bed.

Why didn't you buy the 90 with the attachment model?

That IS an "attachment" model.

It's not a Kombi System though.

Gearbox attachments (that go on the end of the shaft) can be purchased for the FS90R. That's why I bought mine.

You are going to find that those trimmer racks will let your trimmers jump up and down when you hit bumps in the road. I solved this by putting something around the trimmer shaft on the end where the little door closes.

Nice!........ That trimmer will serve you many more years to come The 4-mix engine also has a lot of torque! I love mine. Good job going with the 90-r.

Mine lasted 2 seasons before it wouldn't run.
Just picked it up from the shop today. Cleaned the carb, air filter, "adjusted", and changed the plug.

Aside from that, I've been pretty happy with it.

The articulating hedge trimmer attachment was one of the best things I bought for it.
I have the edger too, but it doesn't see much use.
