been using QB pro for 10plus years...its got a learning curve, but very useful for making things very easy--
I email all my invoices to my customers, I can track them to see who has opened them etc.
then they can pay online with a credit card and or I have many folks who have me automatically charge their card when we mow-

I do all my payroll, federal reports 941 withholding, as well as download all expenses from my bank and credit cards--no double entry--
I like all the reports...i'd say I use 3/4 of the features

Wow, Quickbooks is not that expensive. It is a full blown accounting package. Accounting can be difficult but once you get it, quickbooks is easy. It is not quickbooks that is hard.

It does what it does.

Setting it up might be a little intimidating...its not really that hard...they have many tools to help you-forums, local experts etc...
also, there are many people with experience throughout the country that can come and enter data for a fee--
in addition, I can email my company file to my accountant and continue to work in quickbooks until he gets done-

I have let my CPA log on to my computer, work on my files and explain what, when, where and why. It is the accounting aspect that is the kicker form people.

QB is not just billing software. They do have tutorials includeds, there are forums and such. I do not know what else to say, it is accounting software.

I like it a lot--it made my day to day operations so much easier-and my billing takes me like 1-2 hours a month max (granted, 90% are on contract)-
I like the emailing invoices feature, no stamps--I think I put a stamp on one envelope a couple of months ago--

I can attest that quickbooks is great for payroll. We use it for that and it is super easy and very inexpensive compared to other payroll companies.
