New for 2014 (from what I can tell). 5000 Series, 25HP EFI Kohler with 60" Turbo Force Rear Discharge deck. And if you are current or former military (must provide valid military ID) or Firefighter or Police Officer, be sure to ask your dealer about the "American Hero's" program...

I've never had the problems you describe with my toro's. I do consider them to be very quality machines. Scag would probably be my go to mower if toro fell off of the map.

Destroying spindles for no reason has never happened to me. Odd problem to deal with. I've mowed 30-sone odd thousand lawns with the same 2 toro machines, and a never not one had a spindle problem.

Why did i just say that?

The new Toro turboforce deck has the stoutest spindles and deck material you can get in a commercial mower.
