Thanks as promised. A few from FOB Shank.
Another broken skid loader, and the weird German compactor (All the controls where labeled in German so it was like "what does this button do?"
Rat problem, need cats.
We did a "drug" deal for some chili from the chow hall, no stove to cook it so next best thing use the grill.
While grilling the chili playing some volleyball with the SF guys and terps.
Just a random landscape shot.
Controlled Det.

Hopefully this will be your last deployment to Ungratefulstan. Did you ever get that mission to use the big crane they trained you on? What's your plans now? Business, job, Army tech?

Never got a chance really, the computer that reads your load on the cable was malfunctioning and was never fixed. I guess Terex really pushed the Army and Navy to buy these (which they did) but really never made enough spare parts for them. Sadly the only thing I was able to do with it was to drive it back to Kandahar to retrograde it. Plans now, well I still work at lumber yard, and I'm on the fence to try a business again (the last one was is in lawn care, and honestly didn't care for it to much). I'm going to look into Army Corps of Engineers as job wise.

Yes its a Case with a blown engine. The task force that I was working for was "Gifting" that machine to the Romanian's to use as parts or try to fix. It was off the US Army books, so instead of shredding it they saved it.

Had to resurrect this one didn't ya? The more time I'm out the more I miss it. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. The experiences will never compare to anything in civilian life. I miss all the travel for TDYs for schools and independant missions.
