The old lesco mowers were great, until john deere bought them, lesco had mowers , parts, and grass seed now u have to go though john deere, so it sucks. My friend has a 48" lesco belt drive on the second engine he has 40 yards mower is like 17 years old , still runs every day. Down here in chattanooga there r still companys with lescos.

I had a older hydro 60"..loved it once I got use to the pistol grip control- Built solid..wish I had kept it- I don't know about later ones but my choice would be before JD took them.

Very good mowers! They're almost identical to a Scag mower and they share many of the same parts. If you've got a crafty Lesco/John Deere Landscapes employee, he can still get you many of the parts.
