Good point Kelly. Thats another thing to consider, speed. My mower does 13 mph and I can think of two right off the bat that are faster.

I'm never interested in a first year anything. Too many bugs to get worked out under real world cutting conditions for me to drop that much money. I am in favor of EFI on mowers both for fuel savings and in power response when needed, but just not when it's on a first year production run.

I would say the more power the better. Its better to have too much and not need it then to need it and not have it.
I am getting an exmark 60" lazer, with at least the 29hp Kawi. I dont mind Kohlers, but i like Kawis better. I may go to a 31hp or whatever else is out there. I plan on putting thousands of hours on this machine and I know it has been done before.
