If its English ivy it would take multiple apps of roundup and 24d to kill it. One app of roundup won't even turn it yellow.

My point about asking for trouble is the fact that this person is probably not trained or licensed for the use of herbicides. Legally they would be in the wrong plus the fact they do not understand what they are doing. Whether or not the roundup would harm the ivy is not my point.
