Used or New?

I was wondering is it worth saving the money, and buying a used W.B? OR a new W.B? Also what is a good brand of walk behind?

Thanks, pabs

These questions are so vague. You need to do some research on all the different brand mowers. Then figure out how much money they cost, then if you can afford a new or used.

Do you have 4hrs of mowing a week or 40hrs a week? If you have 40hrs you can't afford the down time. If you have 4hrs you can be down and repaired before a customer notices.

About total 2-3 hours a day for a whole week. Prob around 20-25 hours or so, in a week. Basically at least 3 hours a day. Sometimes more sometimes less.

Thanks

You can get both sometimes... Dealers have demo models with low hours that they are often willing to give you a really good price on! I've seen Zero Turn Demos with less than 30-hours on them go for $3,000 off the original price! Check around all the dealers in your area, and in the fall is the best buys!!!

I'd say on a wb, go used, especially if cash flow is low. There are always units with low hours for a lot cheaper than new. Although, scag and ferris are offering 0% for at least 36 months, so if you what new, I would look into that...

I would go used because WB are a lot easier to work on and have cheaper parts. Designs haven't changed much so buying new is kind of pointless. Unless you want those new Z controls that some have switched to. I would say look at Deere but the decks on the new ones are crap. The old deeres are awesome though
