Impatiens downy mildew problem

Anybody have some insight into practical control of this growing problem? By practical I dont mean spending unlimited funds on fungicides. I know this is primarily a turf site, but surely lots of you guys plant annual color and other important landscape services

Impatience is a shade plant that may have been stressed by the sun enough to allow disease to set in... it is a popular potting plant on the hardscapes about the houses and we've not seen a problem at all... I'd look at the environment and watering habits...

Do they get hit by the lawn sprinklers???

Try a table spoon of baking soda/litre of water and spray them.
