$1806 is supposedly for the submeter and permits

1""pvb" is $944

Irritation: Here you go, The black part gets removed.

This was supposed to be a simple one day install

Thats definatly Magnolia plumbing , and that price is about right for wssc water district . You may find a smaller plumber maybe 10% cheaper . A pvb installed with all the permits runs around a grand . When I do installs in an area covered by wssc I quote the irrigation system and tell the customer they have to hire the plumber . My plumber hates wssc , too much paperwork ,and time waiting for inspections .

This neighborhood is that kind of neighborhood. All $500+ homes. But I've seen more foreclosures in that particular neighborhood last year than anywhere else. The people can be extremely cheap

thats relative to the size of the property , and the water useage . They bill sewer charges based on how much water you use , I have seen $1500. water bills for 3 months useage
