time for another walkbehind

Well guys its time for another push mower And im tired of going though them every year so im going to invest in a commerical one but not sure which one to choose. I have it narroed down to 4.

1st is the exmark metro x series

21"mowing deck
Kawasaki engine
rear wheel drive

$1,010

2nd is the Honda commerical mower
Hydrostatic transmission
Blade clutch
Honda OHV engine
steel mowing deck that is reinforced

$1200

3rd is a mower by aerins
4.5HP/ 173cc Kawasaki
21" Cutting Width
Standard Push
14-Gauge Stamped Steel Deck with rolled under lip for added durability and maximum airflow
1.0" to 3.25" Height of Cut Adjustment
4-Position Adjustable Handlebar
Includes Mulch Plug, Side Discharge Cover and Bagger
High-lift blade to maximize bagging efficiency

4th is a Ybravo

Engine Honda GXV 160
Transmission Heavy duty 2-speed gear drive transmission
Ground Speed 3.0-4.2mph @ 3,200 engine rpm
Cutting Width 21”
Deck Material 14-gauge stamped steel with rolled under lip
Wear Strips Replaceable hardened steel strips on both trim sides of mower
Cutting Heights 1”-3.5”
$1099

My biggest concern on the Ybravo is the cutting height, the lowest i cut is 3" and the heihest that the mower cut is 3.5 so it wont be much help on the lawns i cut at 4". Plus not sure how the mowers mulching is, i hear there great baggers but heard nothing on the mulching.

Anythoughts on these mowers would be great!!

thanks
Alex

If your concerned with mulching ability I would go with the honda, it bags awesome and mulches even better. Not sure how many hours you use a push mower, but look into the honda hrx217. Its got an even bigger bag, hydro transmission, and weighs a LOT less

I have a 21" Toro commercial that I cannot lift out of the back of the truck without back strain.Went to a MTD push with a Honda engine.Been using it now for 4 seasons.Wheels are plastic and wobbly so I bought steel wheel replacements. At $250 bucks for the mower I am way ahead of the game. The MTD is nice and light has a bagger ,mulch and side discharge.I cut-in with the side discharge and then all the crap is blown into the lawn. And since I bag most of mine the Ferris then comes around and picks it all up.

Hows it mulch? I dont have the option of side discharging on a few accounts so it has to be mulched

Well the nice thing about the hrx is that it is only 700$. You could get two almost for the price of one honda commercial
