Sometime early next year I should get a schedule of when the different blades will be released. I will update everyone as soon as I get it.

Just bought 6 sets of new blades. Got the 91-638 high lift, 93-008 med lift, I guess that what they are and 396-702 gators. The ones I liked the best and ordered but didnt get were the 96-702. They are a Bobcat blade which looks like a JD with the drop in the blade. I put them in a vise and raised the out side up to get more lift. We had a old blacksmith who put hard surfacing on blades at a IH dealer years ago who showed me what to do. Really like the way they cut and mulched. ALL the new blades I bought are all heavy on the same end by quite a bit. Good thing I bought a balancer.

Oregon OEP, I asked you some time ago about g6 or g5's in 17-1/2''L W/ 5/8'' Center hole, I am so sick of using stock blades for my exmark phazer. Thanks:Forrest Baum

The production planners say not until next year.

Anyone know where there are some 18" 5/8 g5's for the Wright 52" in stock? I have been waiting for a set for months.

I wish that Oregon would still offer the .250 thick 96-702 Gator blade which is the same thickness and width as the OEM blade 111111-03. The G6 396-702 is the same thickness but, much wider and offers a lot more vacuum but, they are also quite a bit harder to spin. They probably drop the engine over 100 RPM compared with the OEM or the older Gator blade. I'm flat out not interested in a thinner blade like the G5 that will bend a lot easier and take a lot more damage when you hit something. It's hard to believe that commercial manufacturers even put blades that are less than .250 thick on their mowers. Unless they planned on selling more blades that way.
