Projection Sheet for you guys.

I posted this in the Elements of Business forum, but I think it could also go here.

I'd love to help you guys out, and this sheet has GREATLY hlped me plan on what needs to take place. If you guys are struggeling to figure out what needs to happen to make X amount of dollars, this should help quite a bit.

I use this excel spreadsheet to help me plan out my budget. It's great. I love this site! I thought I would share this, just plug in your numbers and it will shift it all around for you guys. If you have any questions, just ask me. It's pretty simple though. My projections for 2004 are already in this sheet just to give you guys an idea of what my plans are for next year. Thanks all.

during the busy times its 2. The yards around here are real small. Right now I'm doing 2 an hour. That setup is modeled exactly after one of my friends here in the area. And he even works slower than I do. He does 6 yards an hour.

I see it says 2 so I'll assume there are 2 others and your self. Some of your numbers don't make sense to me. Is this a part time business?..... 'cause your hours and your employees hours worked (25-30/week) indicate it is.

Your expenses seem very high...

$290 for GL, $200 phone bill and $300 for accounting per month? I would shop around.

Your truck expense has $675 across the board.. including the total line.

I know you were sharing this with others to help but since you plugged in your numbers.. I wanted to point these things out.

GL? dont get what ya mean there. Phone bill, Nextel unlimited plan. 200 a month. unlimted in unlimited out. it will also be my personal phone. and it was just a rough estimate for someone to keep books and such for 300. "Projections"

It will be a full time job, but only hiring about 2 x 30 hours a week. Some misc work I will do myself, and I will do most of the maintenence. (that was not included in the projectionms)

I liked the spreadsheet. thanks !
Even though I did not review the #'s closely , it's nice to know a young person has the vision to understand and see value in a budget / expense log. For many years, I failed to recogonize the worth of these #'s. You can wind up spinning your wheels..........
