replace the hose...if its is loose oil can escape thru the hose.
It may also cause your fuel pump to not pump so good...

If the hose is snug on the barb on the head.. how can it leak ?
are you sure the oil isnt coming out of the vent in the fuelpump...or a leaking valve cover?

no it is seeping out the barb on head i did'nt use a screw clamp just a spring loaded fuel line clamp. i have read that a head gasket may cause this as theres too much pressure in the crankcase causing this. but if gasket was blown i would think engine would smoke or plug would have oil on it and it does'nt

According to Johnny Walker, and his dear Old Grand Dad, the "vacuum port" is really a pulse port. It alternates 'tween vac. and pressure pulses, to act on the pump diaphragm. If its not sealed good its possible to leak, but I can't remember the last time I ran into one that a new hose/clamp didn't fix.
The best way to check for a blown head gask. is the old leakdown test.
