If you want to do the exhaust at the same time that will be under the muffler. Be careful not to scrape the cylinder wall when you do the exhaust port. Blowing air thru the spark plug hole is a good idea, too (Thanks Fish). The good thing about trying the screen first is you can't really mess it up and you will see right away if that is part of the problem (lots of carbon - it is getting choked, no carbon - look elsewhere). The carb rebuild shouldn't be hard, but you have to put things on in the right order and be more careful with cleaning. Good luck. |
