One of my best friends lives in Henderson, which I guess is right across the creek from you. He is a mail carrier and has mentioned how much rain they have had this year compared to 2011.

We are still extremely dry here. We did get some rain over the weekend, but the average, in this immediate area, seems to be less than 1 inch. It looks like the remnants of Isaac will probably go mostly to the east. To really salvage our mowing season, I think we would have to have several multiple-inch rains over a period of a couple of weeks.

I'm counting on it coming right on up through this state as well. We don't have to be right in the middle of the flight path in order for us to get some relief, so hopefully it'll pass at least near us and help out.

Most of June was crisp dry, then toward the end of June & all of July: rain every day & could barely keep up! Now in August: haven't had rain in a good 2-3 weeks. Hoping Isaac brings some in.
