I can tell you from experience that no matter what brand of mower you have it won't cut weeds well especially dandelions even a 13K walker won't cut those on the first pass, so don't get discourged there, since the hustler is payment free go for that, it will be an improvement over the one you have, but it won't cut weeds at full speed maybe at a very slow speed but who wants to cut at a very slow speed.

Even thoe the hustler might not be your top choice for now it sounds like ide go with the hustler. That should get you through for now.

Don't take this the wrong way. But we all learn here. I think part of the problem also is the salesman. He didn't help in your process of finding a mower that would fit your needs, or maybe a few more questions should have been asked. This is a lesson that we all should learn from. Always ask a ton of questions before making a decision of this magnitude. I say magnitude cause it is huge for someone putting out the money. That is why I joined here. A lot of great people and a lot of questions answered.

Well obviously they do. However even non commercially on my own lot, while cutting residential, prior to starting the business ,it did not cut as good as I think it should have.

Furthermore, the commercial line is 1. not offered ner me, and 2. not $3000 new.

Actually I noticed that they dropped the RZ5424 from Rural King, where I purchased it.

Here is what I have has always thought...say I have 8 acres on my yard (residential) that I cut weekly and it takes me about 4 hours to cut. In a month I have 15+ hours on my machine, which happens to be the mowing rate my small company is doing.... This is zero turn times.... Or I grew up on 4-5 acres and mowed weekly with a riding mower putting on roughly the same number of hours and it wasn't a commercial duty one either.

I wanted to limit myself to $3000 spent and really did not want to go used..almost bought a cub but decided the Husqvarna was better because warranty service is about 3 miles down the road. I guess I should not be afraid of used, just the warranty potential sold me.

My John Deere rider and heck even my old Poulan Pro has cut better.
