Any advice on a leaf rig for 7x16 open trailer? Can't afford a huge loader setup.

I will be getting a Clam Shell bagger for my SCAG Cheetah before fall. The problem is that I won't be able to do too many leaf "hauling" jobs until I rig something, for now, I'll serve people with wooded areas where they can be dumped. I have a 6x12 trailer (that I use for my lawn business) and a 7x16 trailer that's just sitting until fall. The 7x16 has about 3' mesh metal sides all the way around, and has a detachable landscape box up front. Any ideas on how I can transform this into a leaf hauling machine for a simple project/decent price?

Can you post pictures of yours? Thanks

Plywood attached to the sides of the trailer to increase the height of walls, but also to keep leaves from getting out. Use some type of strong canvas or something with chains attached to pull it out.

Have the deck be smooth, with nothing sticking up to block or tar the canvas.

When doing cleanups, lay the canvas out on the floor of the trailer, with chains at back end. When you fill the clam shell, back onto trailer and dump on canvas. Leaving room at the back for your mower.

When you unload, attach the chains to a tree or something and pull the trailer forward, pulling the canvas and load off the trailer.

That's a really good idea, thanks. I might just need a dump trailer, seems like the typical thing to do with leaves..
