Anyone own a Country Clipper Charger?

This one must be way below the radar as I haven't seen them around here. But as I have read, it is supposed to be really good on hills. Anyone own one? Hows the cut quality versus the mainstream ZTRs?

Country Clipper

Yes, Country Clipper are well under the radar but are a great companyand have a good quality product! I have been selling them for 2 years now and have had very little problems to speak of. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

I found the electric deck lift and stand up function pretty nice. Also the front step in the center of the Boss mower is a nice feature. I'm curious though about the belt when standing up the deck. I wonder how easy it is to remove?

We had a dealer around here get rid of 1 line of mowers and start selling these. They went out of business 1 and half years later. Don't know if that was the reason why but it makes you think.

I've had no personal experience with them, but haven't heard anything bad about them. From what I have seen in this part of the country, they tend to be sold by very small dealers. I know of two in this area, and have seen others in Kansas and all are basically at- home businesses with maybe 3 or 4 mowers sitting under one of those metal carports. One of the dealers is Amish.

Amish selling gas powered equipment.... isn't that hypocritical?

There is a dealer around here, and yes, he is a small dealer.... I think he's moved 4 or 5 of them in the past couple of years. I looked one over and didn't care much for the joystick controls on it.

We have one of the top five country clipper dealers in the country in my town. They have sold hundreds of units over the last few years. Most models are between 6-10k. Not exactly cheap. They do handle hills well and have decent cut quality.

I have a charger and I like it. It will mow a hill steep enough to scare me. climbing or laterally. My deck lift is manual and not as easy as it looks, but it stripes nice and the joystick is simple to use. The belt comes off easily enough after releasing the tensioner handle. Great mower overall.
