No experience here with the Komatsu, even though the dealer is pretty close. Tak dealer is closer, and a very good friend of ours. We bought a new TB285 back in March. Jad the dealer swap out the "Tag" buckets, coupler and thumb for a Werkbrau pin grabber hydraulic coupler, Werkbrau thumb and 36" tooth bucket and 48" smooth edge bucket. What a great machine! Fits perfectly between our SR135 and SR35.

I was really inerested in the Cat 308 but the lifting ability and swing performance is terrible. Most other machines are much better. The Aux flow on the Cat is the best in class but at the end of the day it has not been enough too sway my decision.
