Kubota alternator on a 4400

I am trying to find an alternator for my 4400 with a V1200-B Kubota diesel engine. The original is a Nippon-Denso but the numbers have faded off and I have nothing there. If I could even get a part number it would be great. Anyone know where I could get this done?

Our manuals really don't go heavy into the Kubota. Have you reached out to a Kubota dealer yet?

Yeah. I have tried a couple of different dealers. They want close to $400 for one and won't give me a part number to go aftermarket. I thought I could do better than $400 but, at the same time, I may get what I pay for.
