Acephate 97 for ants

We have lots of acreage and lots of fire ants this year. My farm supply store got me a bag of acephate 97. I want to know if I can use this as a sprinkle on. I do not want to mix it up with water. It is not a powder--it looks like rice granules.

I use the acephate powder, not sure about the pellet. You could grind them up I suppose. I mix the powder in a windex bottle and spray. It doesnt take much acephate to kill ants.
