Hence my refusal of lawns that are not irrigated correctly and mowed at the wrong height for that grass. Modifying the irrigation timing/scheduling-FIRED.

I learned a lot of NEW cuss words doing that last year. Beneficial for swearing the three different languages. To the original poster, there are chemical for your problem but sadly not for residential use. Do you know your target weeds? Some of them may be just winter variety and will die down when the weather changes. As pointed out by Greendoctor, that St. Augustine should be mowed at 4" which will smother a lot of the Bermuda and combined with a good Pre-Em like "Gallery", things should begin to change. Personally, I would doctor the St. Augustine when it get warmer and grass begins to flourish with "Image" DO NOT USE ON DORMANT ST.AUGUSTINE--IT WILL KILL IT.

No. He is not talking about that. I know there are at least 3 different Image brand weed killers. One of them is Solitare herbicide repackaged for homeowner use, next is 4% atrazine. Finally there is Image Nutsedge killer which is Imazaquin. I find Imazaquin to be a top notch product for killing labeled weeds when used at the right time. It is usable on all warm season grasses except for bahia and seashore paspalum. On non sandy soil, atrazine is an appropriate treatment in st augustine grass during the winter.

The never-ending,,, everlasting,,, forever expanding. NATURAL ENVIRONMENTAL HAPPENING OF THINGS. It's a natural "FORCE"! That's why we call it " NATIVE"! Meaning "born and raised",,, "WAS HERE FIRST",,, good luck with the stuff you engineered and expect to create a " NON-NATURAL FORCE"! Good luck! Don't make your landscape a "JUNKIE" and don't become a "PUSHER"! This requires getting treatment,,, to apply treatment! "JUST KIDDING". But think about it REALLY... The NATURAL will never stop occurring with ever-changing, non repeating, naturalism! Don't try to schedule,,, problems will dissolve.
