Starter rope for Turf Tracer?

What starter rope do you use? I have to replace mine about every 3 weeks because it keeps breaking and I'm getting tired of it

Go to your nearest Ace/ True Value and purchase the 1/4" nylon cord by the spool. I have been using this material for years and yet to have any issues.

replace the whole starter rope/recoil unit on top.
doesn't matter what engine, the recoil will wear out.
cheap fix.
takes a rachet and 5 minutes.

Get some dyneema rope from a marine place. Your local dealer should sell a special rope for starters. http://www.apsltd.com/c-1486-single-...a-vectran.aspx

This is the stuff I use in all our turf tracer recoils. It lasts longer than the original rope!
