You connect one end to plug wire on the mower and the other end on the item in the photo... you can then do this orally or ...well......rectally.... and give the mower a quick turn-over. If your hair stands on end....you got spark~ LOL

None taken...it sure resembles one of an array of igniters inside the EV1 flux capactor...could be mistaken.....I ll see if I can find a picture....
