Grass Gobbler
Does anybody have any ideas where to get one for a good price? I could always order through my dealer, but I was hoping there was a cheaper option?

Did you ask your dealer for a price? Maybe they can come close.

spend the extra cash on an accelerator catcher. MUCH lighter and better built i think. the difference in weight seems huge when you've got them both side by side full of grass

Go with Accelerator. Those steel catchers have to weigh a ton when they are full of damp/wet grass.

I am more interested in something to help with leaves in the fall for small to medium size residential yards. Do you guys still think I need the accelerator or is weight less of a factor with leaves than fresh grass?

I would spend the extra money and get an accelerator, even when empty the steel ones are heavy, plus accelerator has various sizes. When a steel one is full of heavy grass it can even cause the deck to become uneven because of all the weight hanging off of one side, I don't own an accelerator but they seem sweet.

Grass Gobler
I bought mine used ($75.00). But I had to fabricate the mounting bracket. Worked out great. It took me a couple hours.
