Man, over 100 for the next few days. Only 5 lawns to cut the rest of the week.

We need about 4" of continuous downpour to bring any grass back to life. Forecast looks grim.

A good tropical depression is whats needed to do any real damage. A good 3-4 days of deep soaking rain.

if it rains i'm not even gonna stop mowing. i'll just mow right on through. that would be so refreshing!!! so tired of mowing dust lately. i may wash my truck tonight and see if that helps.

The heat continues.....

and we are still setting or tieing record high heat, but they are projecting a cool down early next week with some possible rain (heard that before). Still got 2 more days of very high heat before we get any kind of break (hopefully)!

Looked at the US drought monitor tonight. 3/4 of the country is in a drought or developing drought. Unreal.

Can anyone out there explain what kind of weather pattern most of the country is in to have such widespread drought?
