Briggs single on a TurfCo topdresser intermitent stalling.
We have a tow behind topdresser at work (golf course) It's towed behind a Kubota RTV, and it's powered by a Briggs single cylinder 12 hp motor. Randomly it will shut off while in use. I've already drained the tank, cleaned the carb, and changed the fuel filter and plug. Operator says it usually only shuts off while in transport from one hole of the golf course to the tother. Some of our cart paths are really bumpy and I'm wondering if the intense bouncing and jarring of the topdresser could bounce the carb float enough to make the motor quit. It always starts right back up when you restart it. Any thoughts? THanks!

Not as much bouncing the float around, but likely sloshing fuel up into the bowl vent (internally vented carb) and flooding it out.... Tell em to slow it down !

Thanks for the help guys! That makes sense. I went over everything on the fuel system and that seems to be the only thing possible. I ran the motor while the topdresser was sitting at our shop and it ran flawlessly. It's when it's being towed it tends to happen.
