I hate those things.
I only had one customer that had them when I first started years ago. They tried to dress up a stupid mobile home. I tried not to break them but it happened. If people insist on using them, they shouldn't be in the actual grass. They should be in a mulch border or some other place away from the grass.

What gets me is they don't even produce enough light to be useful...if they even work. More Chinese crap to fill up landfills.

Talk to her & tell her the lights were not there when you priced the yard. Tell her they create more work & ask if she can move them from grass to mulch beds. If she wants them in the grass, tell her you will no longer use string trimmer around them & will remove them to mow but she will have to put them back. Unless she wants to pay a couple dollars more for you to remove & reinstall or RU around base & use trimmer. Even if you spray a lil RU around base there is still more trimmer work to do then what u priced the job at. Basically you need to tell her for her price to remain same you will remove & NOT reinstall or she can pay a lil more for other 2 options. Don't do this in text or email cuz it is hard to read a persons attitude. She may read it as if you are being an @$$ abt it.
