Thanks for all the good info. I'm just using the machine for my lawn and do not intend to use it commerically. The 10cc pumps work fine for me and seem much more quite than the larger ones, but then again I do not know what a larger pump would do for me other than speed.
Question:
Would it be wise to get a rebuild kit for the pumps since I do not know if they ever been rebuilt and it's 10+ years old? They are not leaking and seem to work as designed.

Wait for the hydro's to go bad. They could last a long time.
