Hour meter busted around 2k hours so I just do it in the spring. It cost me about $20.

Im going to say it depends on what you plan to do with it... if its will be your main mower then yes hydro. If its a back up or maybe just used on a couple yards whatever you find a good deal on and isn't beat up will work... like just a few weeks ago im looking for a 48 in walk behind for some of my smaller yards... first one I found for 900 was mine its a Toro belt drive its in great shape and I love it
