He used to own a million dollar mowing company and went into sales/ service.
He cand get volume pricing on walker or exmark so he don't sell them ( it doesn't seem to hurt him but I would love if he could get discount walker)

We have changed from Exmark Lazer to the new Husky MZT last year. We bought the MZT52 due to price point and hydro/engine. It is way faster and I mean way faster then our exmark lazerhp 52 with 23hp kawi.
It rides better cuts better and is faster. We ended up selling the Exmark this year and buying a MZT 61 with a kawi 23. These are great mowers even if the manufacture states they are entry commercial. I would bet we will be running these in 5 years just like the exmark. If your really looking look into their fleet pricing. you can get a great deal when you buy some trimmers and blowers also.

Uh oh! I can hear the tremors of an earthquake starting. There's no way the LS faithful are going to let these statements go uncontested.

As for me, I'm glad to hear this type of feedback. I think there are some good mowers out there that get overlooked just because they're not a certain brand, level, color, etc. I hope to hear more about your mowers, as the season progresses.

I'm not surprised at all to hear that about the Husky mowers. When Jim Q was on here all the time, he kept us in the loop on them and what they were coming out with. He was involved in a lot of the stuff that went on at Husky.

Their full on commercial mowers have decks that are almost a mirror image of the 7 Iron, with the main difference being that small black bolted in baffle that is in between the left and center blade on the backside of the main front baffle. I wish there were more Husky dealers around here that actually had the commercial line on the floor to look at.

Take a look through this thread at the designs of the under sides of many common commercial decks-

Well we run the mz line and really like them. Great cuts especially with the g5 on them. Hell they have the biggest frame in the industry in my opinion Husqvarna has stepped up there game.

I think you're right. I posted it wrong. the cheetah goes 16mph.

I looked on the Husqvarna website and I don't even see that mower on there anymore. they must have stopped making it.

I went to purchase an mzt52 for $4800 new and left without it. I'm trying to decide if it is worth an extra $1400 to upgrade to a snapper pro s150xt with zt5400 drives, fx series kaw, and 1 extra year of warranty? I will be mowing about three acres and trying to pick up a few 1+ acre yards in the neighborhood I just moved into. Not looking to start a major business, just mow a feww yard close by to help cover the cost of the mower.

I'd be looking at a 60", in whatever chassis you decide on.
