Huge improvement! Very nice. Hope whoever wrote that note feels like an ass hat now every time they drive by and see that.

I'm late to the party, but that's actually pretty funny.

If they pay that much attention to your yard, they obviously know how much/little time you spend there. I would hate to see this person's yard; obviously a female that wrote it.

My brother & sister in laws had this happen in their snobby ass neighborhood. Letter put in their mailbox in late March, and the neighbors expected their house mulched, edged, and perfect. Even went as far as providing referrals to lawn companies. Turns out, the person that wrote it...is a stay at home mom, and their property is one of the last ones in the development and tends to have more scalped/burn marks on the turf than they have yard.

Little different story of course, but who cares. Atleast they notice you and your house. That's what matters the most IMO.

My yard looks worse than any of my accounts. I never want people to see my yard.

We try and not service our neighbors, friends, and familys yards....we would rather not mix business with personal relationships...thats not to say we havent helped them out here and there but we dont try to get their business...

I know this is an old thread, but I guess since it got brought up I'll chime in. I think a landscaper oughta have a nice lawn. Mine is a wreck right now, but due to installing irrigation, landscape, pond, etc. I will have the nicest lawn on the block come fall. That is my goal, I look at it like this, if a customer comes by my house be it to drop off a payment, go over a landscape project, etc. I want them to see the work I can do. I want to be able to say, yes your lawn can look like this too. Granted it is hard to keep up with though.
