Toro 3000 series or Exmark Pioneer S series?
I posted the basic same question in the homeowners section and have over 60 views and no replies. I'd like some feedback on these mowers if possible, or just your opinions if you have one. Which mower would you choose? The one with more power? The one with stronger deck and grease-able spindles?
First is the Toro 3000 series model: 74951. 48" deck with a FX600V 20hp motor. 7 gauge deck and grease-able spindles. $6399 Second is the Exmark Pioneer S-series model:PNS651KA483. 48" deck with FX651V motor. 10 gauge deck with reinforced edge. Sealed spindles. $6199 The motor on the toro is what gives me questions. They're doing away with this model and it's on sale. It does have the better warranty though. Kawasaki's web site has it listed at 19 hp I think and only 32 ft. lbs of torque. While the Exmarks motor is listed at 20.5 hp and has 39 ft. lbs of torque. Sorry for the long post just wanted to give as much info as possible. Plus I'm a newb so I'm dumb.

What about the decks? Surely someone has some info or opinions about the different decks. One has the turboforce and the other has the ultracut series 3 I think.

No, it's the trivantage deck. The new pioneer replaced the lazer z HP models which IMO was a great mid size machine. Like the rest of exmark machines they are over priced. Look at snapper pro n bobcat. More machine for the money.
