brakes, drums, and a controller in the tow vehicle should run about 500 or so per axle, plus labor if you cant do it yourself. this guestimate is for electric brakes, surge brakes will be more.

sorry...about $400 per axle, PLUS 100 for a brake control.

Just wanted to let you know ... I picked up the 6x12 today and loaded up my equipment and it pulled it like a champ and the braking is not bad at all.
