You played right into his game...he does this every week to a different LCO and never has to pay for a cut!
I did the same sort of thing with a new customer last season...left after spending one whole day getting their property in shape with my only payment being for the mulch at my cost...couldn't stand to be there another minute and just wanted out. It was a hard decision but I'd rather lose once than over and over.
