What I can say is if you look at the 28 degree slope the guy is using the Ventrac on, it's obvious that a 40 degree slope would be so steep that it looks like it would be impossible to mow with the Ventrac. I'm like some of the other posters, it would be interesting to get a magnetic "angle indicator" and mount it on the mower so that we can see for sure what the mower could handle. |

If slide on 30 degree slope you need a different mower
I mow alot 30 degree hills or slopes and it was check with a Angle finder I mow with 60'' my 72'' dont hold the slopes to well I do have one that is 24-26egree that one I mow up and down I back down mowing and drive up mowing it cant be wet or dry I treat the grass to keep the clover from growing everybody knows cut clover is like ice I never rolled a mower but you never know when will happen Over the yrs doing this learn few things about steep hills I wont allow no one mow them besides me I had to velcro my angle finder My dixie Chopper is SS body magnets dont stick |
