Based on the reps at landscape show I was at. Patents last for 7 years and then its fair game. So they are built with 7 year old technology. That's also why they are cheap, little designing cost and by then parts are cheap.

Design patents last 14 years. That aside the Chinese are famous for ignoring those. I'd like to hear some with experience working on them say that.

One thing I know for sure. Good luck selling your lightly used one. Or after 1000 hrs (assuming it makes it). Resale value is very poor. Better save a bunch on the front end.

Good points all, thank you.

Their country of origin steals our intellectual property, steals military secrets whenever they can, constantly hacks into computers here to try steal ideas to ruin our country's economy, and are too cheap and lazy to design their own equipment so they simply use a design that was worked up with tons of money and R&D by a company here, then sell it back to this country made with inferior materials to people hoping to get a "deal".

They should have to print that on the brochure.

What looked like utter trash to you?

I did just have a deck bearing go out @ 116 hours, replaced under warranty. Will continue the beatings on it.....

How is everybody doing?
New to the Forum. Not new Business. Large corporate machinations or two guys a truck and trailer.
Read between the lines of this Obit to understand why Worldlawn looks just like a Ex mark and is assembled
in Nebraska.
Sell a company, the patents are included. http://journalstar.com/business/loca...267e40d78.html
