I remember being amazed when I saw this mower. Seems like a great concept. I guess there isn't anything like this now?

I finally got caught up yesterday afternoon. I only have two scheduled lawns on Fridays so I have a built in bad weather/overflow day. I was pushing it to 7-8pm Wednesday and Thursday evenings though. I don't mind working on Saturdays in spring and fall, but I absolutely hate it during the summer.

I'm still not caught up yet. Worked through the weekend, which caught up all but one of my scheduled client, which got caught up today and now back on track. But what is killing me is all my as-needed clients are calling all at once. I told them from the start, if you are not on a schedule and want as needed, that will always be a job that I get to when I can. I won't push out a scheduled client to do as-needed. So now, my schedules are caught up and flowing smoothly again, and I am fitting in the others as I can.

Now I just need this wind to die down some so I can get some weed control, dallisgrass control, and some trees sprayed.

I'm REALLY glad to hear some of you Texas guys are getting some rain. We in Central Texas are praying and praying for some, it's getting rough, and just keeps passing us by. Looks like we have three or four days calling for rain this week. Anyone here in Central believe it's going to happen?

The Chinch Bugs are out in force now. We have treated both St. Augustine and Celebration Bermuda. Celebration Bermuda gets highly damaged by just a handful of Chinch Bugs. It's often very difficult to find the Chinch Bugs in Celebration but if you get dire looking brown spots with well defined borders in sunny area of the lawn it's a given that it's Chinch Bugs.

Celebration looks like really healthy Common Bermuda grass when it comes to the density. It's not quite to the Tiff density and creates more vertical grow pattern then horizontal like Tiff. It's supposed to more abuse tolerant but I would not recommend it.
