I would stay away from top handle saws or using it 1 handed. I sliced open my leg DOing that. There is really no point, especially of your not on the tree. Why do you need a new see if you have 2?

I use a Sthil MS 192 top handle about 90% of the time. I absolutely love that saw. It has a 12" bar and I think its 31.7 cc. The other guys I work with use 193's. Its pretty much the same as a 192.

When I get into a little bigger wood, I use something like an 028 AV Super(like this model for some reason) or something in the 50-65cc range with a 16"-20" bar

For the biggest stuff, I use a MS660 with an 25,28,32 or 36 (usually skip gap chain) inch bar. It had some work done to the engine so I'm not exactly sure how many CC but they are somewhere around 90cc from the factory.
