I did in late 90s, I took my 1988 50''DC took deck off mounted a 30gal tank above the motor behind the seat. Then made a 11 ft boom 5 ft center and 3' fold up wings. Set everything up to spray 1 acre per tank in open I run 7-8 mph at 10lbs of pressure .
In small lawns I'll slow down and slow the pressure down.
My boom is in front of me and in front of the boom is my 125lb spreader. I have it set where it will spread 11' wide.
To keep the mower from riding wheelies I bolted 150lbs under the front end.
I use to walk everything, it would take me 2 weeks now 3-4 days biggest lawn I do now is 9 acres.

if you have a smart phone you can download a speedometer app. I used one when the speedo went out in my truck for a bit.

I have a Garmin Nuvi 200w that I rarely use in the truck, so I bought a mount from RAM and attached it to my zero turn and just use the speedo function. You might be able to find a really cheap used GPS on Craigslist or Ebay and it doesn't matter if the database is current, just as long as it has a speedometer function. I don't have mine right in front of me, but I just check it from time to time to make sure my speed is close to what I want.

The next time someone complains about your pricing, ask them how much their barber would charge to come over and cut their hair.
