ZD326P Purchase

For basically two reasons:
1. It was at a out of town dealer that had a clientele that was brand loyal and the brand was not Kubota.

2. It was in the dealers used inventory through the winter and I was watching it as the asking price dropped. When it was at 6000, I went in, inspected it, told the dealer what was wrong with it and worst case costs to repair. I offered 5200 plus tax and he was glad to get rid of the odd sheep in his herd.

BTW, when I went to inspect the mower the PTO did not engage consistently or maintain engagement. Apparently, I was the only one that noticed the linkage was bent causing slightly less than required throw for proper engagement. Due diligence, always worth the time IMO.

I put under $50 in parts in it in 3 years of owning it. It is a good mower for flat dry areas and I have 4 other Kubota diesels, so I am ok with the purchase.
