I think I posted pics of that "unplugged" wire before. I wuz pushin'and pushin'on that button to shut it down and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't shut down!
Started to check wires and found it pretty quickly.

I had pushed the mower under some evergreens and it probably got snagged then.

Mine snagged on the side of the handle and pulled the harness from there. I've added more zipties.

In other news, I've got the rebar ziptied to my flap, underneath. It makes a noticeable improvement in striping. But, it's no roller.

My flap on TimeMaster #2 was destroyed and has not been replaced. Doesn't seem to make a huge difference. Yet another pro of this mower is I can mow two strips side by side in the same direction and not have it look super obvious.

BOP mowers...? Not possible in any shape or form. Very stripe sensitive.

Here are some pics, with rebar mounted, mowed at 4", in crappy lighting.

Close-up shows the grass bent in the direction of travel.

This looks a lot better, in person.

I mowed into the adjacent lot with my X-ONE (2X60").

A couple more "rebar" pics I took, the other day. The light was good, back here.

I may just try that. My flap has a tear in the center so I have nothing to lose - gonna need a new one sometime anyway.
I think I either caught it on a bolt head holding down the plywood floor of the trailer when unloading, or on a protruding metal fence post hidden in a lawn.

I was thinking of creating a second "flap" mounted at the very back (like most other mowers have), but modifying the existing flap may be simpler.

I doubt the tear will affect anything. I'd just mount it up.

I'm guessing, they mount the flap up under to keep from tearing it at the rear of the deck. Being between the wheels and about even with the axle centerline helps it last.

Oh, I know - I was just saying that since it's torn now, it can't hurt to screw with it. If I mess it up, no big deal since it's already "broken".

I assume you drilled some holes and ran zip ties through?

I do have some concern for having that hang up when I load/unload, but willing to give it a try.

Yep, four in total. The 1/2" rebar is one piece, all the way across.
