I buy safety glasses in tinted and clear by the box. They are less than a dollar, and i love them. I wear them on my motorcycles and in the car or truck as well as when I'm working. The crews love them too.

Stihl makes good ones you can pretty much run a mower over for $15. Otherwise high end you can go fishing or other sporting sunglasses

I get a headache pretty much instantly if I'm in the sun and don't have sunglasses. Combined with a penchant for losing and destroying my sunglasses, I'm not too picky. Anything that will fit my face!

I bought the $5 stihl ones and i dropped them once and they got a permanent scratch. They also distort the vision and make things appear closer than they are depending on the angle. Im sure most cheap stuff is like that. Vision is something you cant replace, so i would like something that doesnt distort it.
Are there glasses that are scratch resistant or scratch proof?

Any type of ANSI safety glasses. And they do have a sunglasses type that I absolutely love!

Oakley Flak Jacket do the trick for ninety percent of the work I do. I don't use them if I'm running a brushcutter or trimmer without a face shield, but for anything else they work really well. I will use just about anything rated Z87+ though, as long as they fit my face. I get my crew a fairly nice set from a fire department equipment vendor, and they like them a lot. I have a set as well.

The pair I like to wear now is fake oakley radars. Nothing gets in my eyes anymore while trimming because the lens goes down farther which I really like
