Recommendations for footwear?
I’d like to get some recommendations for footwear. I do a lot of mowing, no construction of any kind. Initially I bought boots but compared to sneakers they’re heavy. Now I buy a few pairs of inexpensive sneakers each year because they’re light and I can move around better. Problem is the sneakers don’t last long.
Hoping someone can recommend either good quality, lightweight boots/shoes with good arch supports or some brand of durable sneakers. Thanks, Tom |

Check out some Merrells. They are outdoor footwear that are light, comfortable, and very rugged. I have worn them for 5 years in Iraq, Afghanistan, and when I go home to help with the business. If they can hold up walking on the rocks in Afgh and Iraq I would suspect they would hold up anywhere.
The only boots I am familiar with are military style. Oakley assault boots are light, comfortable and breath very well. They are actually a little cooler in high temps than Merrell shoes.
