You can't even use a plow the last two months, the ground is concrete, have to trench and it better be a good one or it's going to laugh at you.
Have to wet it first.

I tricked out a old blade with a chisel tooth tip and a water injection tube on the blade . When the ground gets hard we change blades and attach a hose to the back of the blade and away we go . have to go a bit slower than normal but it works .

Looks like this after the longer pulls

edit : might as well dump the rest here

My boss wanted me to pull a pipe around a house on a hill pitched about 35'..I just trenched it and was also able to run a drip feed for the hill in the same trench..Stacking pipes Whaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!

I love the 4X10 http://s660.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=IMG_0896.mp4

In the ground here was a 1 inch stubb I picked up and a 7 strand wire I jumpped.

The end of about a 200 foot pull.. 2 pipes at once saves so much time..

It's really annoying after I get wet for about 20 mins...

pulling funny pipe is awsome!

This guy might be the best laborer I ever worked with...Picked up putting pipes together, understands basic 24V electronics, a little work around the edges and he could be a great tech...oh by the way he can dig dig dig.

we walked out 1 section of pipe and spray painted it to be able to tell difference...also we use 2 different pipe sizes nsf and non.. Real easy to tell them..

Lastly the RV i rented to catch a few shows....

its a little nicer than the tin can I'm guessing...

I occasionally get so tired of wet feet that I switch to the rubber/leather Maine Hunting Shoe knockoffs.

Thanks for the pics! My dual pipe puller is not in yet, so I pulled funny pipe with a chain(thanks to a suggestion on this thread) and duct taped it around the chain... worked awesome.

I can't wait to get my dual pipe puller, it should be better than a chinese grip which seems to turn into a hand stabber after a while. And I lost a pipe a couple times in rock hard ground.

Here is a pic of my guys pulling pvc for the first time with my sk650.

I had to special order some poly pipe, bc nobody uses it this far south. I think I am going to love poly, pulling pvc kinda sucks trying to tie everything together. Either that or I just don't know what I am doing yet.
