Dave, no offense but from your questions this is going to be way over your head. Best advise I can give you is to take it to a shop and let them diagnose and repair instead of you throwing parts at it hopping it will work.

Agreed, I thought was starter because of the whining noise I heard and just figured - I always take it in but because I can't just push it on a trailer I was trying to get it running. I have a buddy with a full size bobcat who is gonna come lift it on for me and take it in so I'll let you know after that.
