DFS Bagger one man mounting question
I have a Toro DFS bagger and I bought it used and have only had one opportunity to put it on. When I did I needed help to get the thing set on the mower. I want to be able to do this without help. What do you guys do to mount this solo?
I was thinking of making a frame so it sits level and then be able to back up to it and hook it on. It is just to bulky to try and get a grip somewhere and leverage the thing into position. Any photos would be a help. Thanks.

How about a hand winch, or block and tackle and have it hanging.
Then just lower it into place. ....

What do you have on hand that can lift it? Do you have a engine hoist? Block and tackle? I don't know if I'd go to the trouble of fabricating a frame to sit it on. I think it would be easier to just lift it with some type of jack/hoist.

Buy some braided steel security cables that are vinyl covered and a strong spring clip and loop it through the unit, lift it to take the weight off while you slide it into place. I mount a 175lb steel ramp that slides into my trailer hitch sometimes using one. It's also handy for lifting ZTRs to change blades or do work underneath where the pulleys and belts are (with jackstands in place)

My bagger goes in with 4 pins so I tilt it back and then slide on the floor, I doubt it's the same though... Mine is a protero.maybe throw up some pics of how it mounts
