TurboForce or Velocity??

I am looking for a new mower. I have my choices narrowed down to Toro and Scag. Which deck is better overall?

Velocity is way more versatile than the turbo force. If you are doing all or close to all well manicured lawns I would go turbo force.

I demo'd a scag tiger cat and was impressed with the cut of it. I demo'd a grand stand last month when we had a drought, so i will be demoing the grandstand again for a better comparison. I would demo a scag stand on but i didn't feel comfortable on it.

I have both, I think the turbo force leaves a better cut. I also have the Vride and can tell you it's a great mower as long a you don't have to mow steep hills.

We have Turf Tigers with velocity decks and Toro walkbehinds with Turbo force decks. We run mulch kits on the Toro's and side discharge with the Scags. I think it depends on the type of properties you maintain. On well manicured turf doing weekly mowing mulching the Toro's are great. If you are doing large properties discharging I would get the Velocity.

I have both, and I love my velocity a lot more than the turbo force! I feel that the velocity leaves less clumps in wet grass, and has an overall better cut. - Mike

i went from the turbo force to the velocity. the only down fall to the velocity is the blowout in front of the deck but the cut is almost identical to me.the tf may actually be better in my area
